About Amy Gouley, PA-C
Amy Gouley is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and Founder/CEO of Project Happy Face, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to treating disadvantaged teenagers. She has met the defined course of study and has undergone testing by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). To maintain that "C" after "PA", a physician assistant must log 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and take the recertification exam every six years.
Amy treats all types of skin issues and diseases specializing in Medical, Surgical, Pediatric and Cosmetic Dermatology.
Amy Gouley's Background
After receiving the "NAU Outstanding Senior Award" Amy graduated with honors and president of the biology honor society Beta Beta Beta from Northern Arizona University in 2000 with a bachelor in Biology, a microbiology emphasis and minor in Chemistry.
Upon graduation from NAU she went to Western Unviversity of Medical Sciences, receiving the Humanism Scholarship and graduated in 2003 with Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
Amy has extensive training in Cosmetic Dermatology including; certifications in the art and science of botox injections, restylane, juvederm, chemical peels and anti-aging laser training that includes vascular lesion removal, IPL, Limelight, Titan, Laser Genesis, Pearl, Laser Hair Removal.
Ms. Gouley is also a volunteer for the American Academy of Dermatology providing free Melanoma screening for service men and women including fire fighters, EMT's and Ski Patrol.
